Welcome to Mr. Hall's Webpage
Health and Physical Education Curriculum
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Welcome to St. James Catholic
School’s Physical Education Program! We offer a variety of
activities for all of our students and expect them to actively
participate in each activity. For the students’ health and safety we
have the following rules for all students.
ALL STUDENTS MUST DRESS FOR CLASS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Tennis Shoes.. ..No other soft - soled shoe is allowed.
All shoes must be laced in class.
2. Crew Socks. . .No tights or panty hose.
3. Physical Education Uniform.. .Students must have their
physical education uniform on the days they have class. It is the
responsibility of the student to prepare for weather.
GRADING PROCEDURE:
The students’ final grade will come from points earned for
participation and conduct. The student’s participation and conduct
grade is measured by the amount of times the student participated in
class by the number of total classes. For example, a fifth grader
that has to sit out for not participating or misbehaving will
receive a zero for that day’s activity. At the end of the nine
weeks, I will divide 8(the number of classes that the student
participated in) by 9(the total number of classes) which would equal
an 8800 which would be an G. Test or worksheets may be given out
this year; however, they will not affect the students’ grade.
